Eligibility:

Scholarships are available to individuals who are currently employed in the propane industry or who are owners of propane businesses, as well as to their spouses and children.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be employed by (or be the spouse or child of an employee of) a propane business that is a member in good standing of the Arkansas Propane Gas Association (dealer or associate)
  • Have been employed by the member company for at least one year prior to applying
  • And plan to enroll in college or technical school for the upcoming semester, or be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited institution

Scholarship funds may be used for tuition, required books, or room and board expenses. Recipients may hold other scholarships without affecting eligibility for this award.

Applicant Requirements: 

  • Be a current high school senior, high school graduate, or GED holder at the time of the award.
  • Have applied to or be enrolled in an accredited college or technical school program leading to a degree.
  • Maintain a minimum “B” average on a 4.0 grading scale.
  • Demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities or community service.
  • Be of good moral character and demonstrate qualities deemed deserving of a scholarship by the selection committee.
