PENCIL BLUFF, Ark. (June 25, 2026) — The Arkansas Propane Gas Association (APGA) is proud to announce that five students from APGA-member families have been selected to receive APGA Memorial Scholarships. These scholarships reflect the association’s ongoing commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders, skilled professionals, and community members connected to Arkansas’ propane industry.

Each recipient will receive a $400 scholarship to assist with their educational expenses. Scholarship funding is made possible through APGA’s continued investment in student achievement and workforce development.

2026 Scholarship Recipients:

  • Preslee Sims, Gibbs Bottled Gas – Ouachita Baptist University
  • Kiersten Priddy, Ceba Gas – University of Arkansas
  • Allison Stout, AmeriGas – University of Arkansas
  • Breanna Dewitt, GreenPoint Ag – Arkansas State University-Newport
  • Lucas Turner, DanMar Propane – Arkansas State University

“Helping propane families support their children’s education is one of the most rewarding things we do,” said APGA Executive Vice President James Cox. “These students are part of our extended propane family, and we’re proud to play a role in helping them pursue their goals and build bright futures.”
